For the past fortnight I've slowly been assembling my team at BOOKTROPE. I am happy to say that the final team-member came on board yesterday and she is an Aussie. :) Australian based Vicki Sly has come on board as my proofreader for Don't Hit Me! Yay!
In previous posts I talked about my other team members. Below is more info about the ladies I'll be working with to re-release Don't Hit Me! into the world as a paperback and ebook. So exciting.
Jamie Greene is 27 years old and is a Book Manager for Booktrope. She was born and raised in New Jersey, where the rest of her family still resides. She left town at 22 to move to Stuttgart, Germany working as a civilian with the local US military families and their children. Jamie spent a wonderful 5 years traveling Europe, working with children, and delving into health and wellness before making her move over to Seattle in December of 2014.
Lizzie (Martin) Russell is an artist, designer, and writer based out of beautiful Portland, Oregon. Lizzie holds a Bachelor's in Product Design, a Master's in Advertising, and has years of experience working with multiple clients ranging from burgeoning start-ups to well-established businesses such as Microsoft, Nike, Intel, Burgerville, NMR Group, and The Eugene Marathon.
Her passion is to create high-quality, unique graphic design, web, and copywriting work that is authentic to your brand. She is receptive to your needs, responsive to your feedback, and respectful of who you are and what you want to communicate.
Vicki Sly is an Australian editor, proofreader, writer and book publicist. Current projects involve editing for a number of national and international publishing houses in Australia, the UK and the USA. Her area of expertise is fiction with most of her work being in the romance, erotica, chick lit, new adult and GLBT genres. She regularly works on memoirs, coffee table books, business and historical books.
Vicki holds a Bachelor of Arts (English) with a major in Journalism, a Diploma of Professional Editing and Proofreading, a Diploma of Professional Writing and a Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language.
